Does the country of the number matter?
Mostly less than people assume. TikTok personalizes the feed mainly from device signals — SIM card, IP address, language settings — rather than from the number used at registration, so a foreign number by itself does not switch your content region. Where the country choice does help is registration reliability: if a number from one country is declined, a different country usually solves it.
If the TikTok code does not arrive
